Mahasamadhi Sri Kaleshwar

On March 15th, 2012 Sri Kaleshwar left his body and took Mahasamadhi - a pure consciousness stage. This year according to the Indian lunar calendar his Mahasamadhi day will be celebrated on Friday, March 13th. We heartfully invite you to use the three high energy days from Friday to Sunday, March 15th to connect with Swami’s soul consciousness.

You are invited to join us in our sadhana, connecting with Sri Kaleshwar. We hope the following ideas provide inspiration for your meditation:

Mahasamadhi Mantra Meditation

During these days, meditate at least one hour (or as much as you can) with the following mantras:

  • Om Nesraiym Hesraiym Rakshamaam Rakshamaam
  • Personal Mantra + Kshiram Kshiram Amruta Kshiram Avaham (Swami’s Personal Mantra)

About the mantra ‘Nesraiym Hesraiym Rakshamaam Rakshamaam’ Sri Kaleshwar said:

“Try to do that. It’s not my words. It’s thousands of years ago written in the palm leave books and I (am) linked with that two bishaksharas. Who wants to connect with me, you chant that whenever you need help. Don’t think this physical body; my soul level consciousness, my Brahma consciousness will always come on you and protect you.”

General suggestions for the meditation

  • Take a shower or a bath before the meditation process and wear fresh clothes, if possible light in color.
  • Light a candle and incense on your altar and, if possible, offer a flower to Swami.
  • Start your meditation with the opening prayers or by repeating the Guru Mantra 41 times.
  • Meditate with one or both of the mantras above.
  • Close your meditation with the closing prayers.

If you do not know the opening and closing prayers you can find them in this blogpost.

Your Personal Heart Connection to Sri Kaleshwar as a Doorway to the Divine

Soulmates: Rama and Hanuman
Soulmates: Rama and Hanuman

In spirituality, the master-student relationship is the most personal intimate relationship. Through this relationship the student connects with the Divine. The master is the doorway, the students open heart is the key. When does your heart open completely? What do you need to surrender totally? How do you invite the master into your heart?

Make yourself a gift in these days and let your heart guide you to do the things that open your heart and deepens your relationship to Sri Kaleshwar.

  • Remembering moments with Swami that touched your heart. It doesnt matter if it was a direct experience with him in his body or another moment in your life when you could feel his love, nourishment and presence.
  • Singing bhajans or listening to them - alone or together with others
  • Reciting the Guru Mantra 41 times. For example you can listen to this audio recording from Shiva Sai Mandir Music (Download HERE) and sing along. It was recorded in the days following Sri Kaleshwar’s Mahasamadhi in 2012 in Penukonda, India.
  • Spending time in community with others and share stories with Swami.
  • Spending time alone in silence, e.g. in nature.

Connecting with our Gurusthan in Penukonda

“Whoever’s gurusthan is there the guru who is living there, he’s responsible to take care of all your pain, depression, all your problems. Yes, the Guru will take care. Swami Kaleshwar’s gurusthan is Penukonda.

This is like my home. In the future some millions of people are coming and touching my samadhi here. The entire world is coming. Who comes here, who does meditation here, for a little while my soul will completely suck their negativity. After I leave my body I have huge capacity to take it out. That boon I am giving the people.” - Sri Kaleshwar

During this special time from Friday to Sunday there will be Pujas (ceremonies) in Penukonda. You can connect with that energy from wherever you are.
