Support for holistic education project in Kadapa, India
Sri Kaleshwar’s father needs our help!
Helping other people is the best thing you can do in life. Nothing is better than that.
What is this about?
Subbarayudu Anupati, Sri Kaleshwar’s father, a retired professor, has a passion for holistic education. During Swami’s lifetime, he started an extensive educational initiative in Kadapa (Sri Kaleshwar’s birthplace), which now includes a primary school, a college and an institute for the training of teachers and IT engineers. Subbarayudu Anupati’s vision is to offer children, adolescents and young adults a higher quality of education and training than they can receive at state educational institutions. This vision was actively and financially supported by Sri Kaleshwar during his lifetime. After Sri Kaleshwar’s Mahasamadhi in 2012, this support fell away. The project is not (yet) part of a non-profit organization, but at the same time it needs financial support from all sides, since the school fees do not cover the running costs. So far, this could be offset by private donations from the Anupati family, but this is no longer possible. Subbarayudu Anupati contacted us with a request to support the project.

What is the scope of the educational project?
The pre-school, primary school and secondary school are housed together in a larger school complex. The college and training institute are located in a separate large campus which was built with the financial support of Sri Kaleshwar.
1) Nursury School “Sri Sai Vidyanikethan” (preschool and elementary school)
200 children are taught here by 14 teachers.
2) Dr. Sai Kaleshwar Memorial Degree College (DSKMDC)
Here 300 students are taught by eight teachers and teachers are also trained. Seven other teachers are responsible for the MBA education.
The school was named after Sri Kaleshwar, who dedicated his life to better education.
3) Sree Sai Kiranmai Institute of Business Management (SSKIBM)
The Institute for Education and Training. So far, the MBA has been trained here. A new “Master of Computer Administration” course is currently being offered.
There are 60 students per course (a total of 120 students) who are taught by seven teachers.
The school was named after Sri Sai Kiranmai Anupati, niece of Sri Kaleshwar. Wife and daughter of Sri Kaleshwar’s late brother – Kaliprasad – live in Kadapa with Sri Kaleshwar’s parents.
What are the donations used for?
First Project:
As the first goal of supporting this extensive educational project, we would like to collect money for computers, which are required for the new course “Master of Computer Administration” at the SSKIBM:
25 computer workstations at EUR 800 (880 $)
FUNDING GOAL: EUR 20,000 (aprox 22,000 $)
Second Project:
In the second step, we will determine the need for a new chemistry laboratory for the college, which is to be set up on the upper floor in the medium term.
Help on site:
There is the possibility to help on site at the school. You can work temporarily as an exchange teacher and thus enrich the pupils and students with your skills and knowledge. Board and lodging would be provided. You bear the travel expenses yourself. Such a cooperation is feasible and sensible on the basis of 2-3 months.
