Dying to be reborn

In spirituality there is much talk of ‘Light’. The story of Jesus also highlights his Light-filled resurrection. It is said that he died for us so that we can enter the kingdom of God. That he took all of our sins upon himself so that we can be freed. So that we can become like him.

But why do we all experience so much suffering? Who really feels that that he is in the kingdom of God, or on the way to it? Who feels that he is really like Jesus? Are these just heart-touching words that do not touch our reality? Swami said:

“To heal the whole globe, he needed to go through and he went through a lot. He really suffered for us. His soul really went through the most amazing hard time for everybody’s karmas. Finally, he understood all of the Mother’s nature. Now he is producing unbelievable bliss, and opening the cosmic channels for you. You should taste Her (Mother Divine) in both ways – then only you can really understand Her. Otherwise, there is no fragrance in your life. Who really understands the ups and downs, I can only consider him as the right soul in this universe.”

Jesus recognized that the kingdom of God is in us, and he experienced the infinite power of its fulfillment. But without dying first, his resurrection would not have been possible. Jesus would have been able to prevent his death. He could have choosen his own well-being, the easy path. His words ‘Your will, not mine, be done’ are an expression of his complete surrender to the Divine. He surrendered completely to the path and did not avoid death. Obviously he was compassionate about those who tortured him. He knew their consciousness was clouded and they’ve been victims of their own illusions. The bible says he prayed for them ‘Lord, forgive them for they don’t know what they do.’

“He didn’t get angry at the people who were crucifying him. He never used his power for his selfishness. Simply, just his heart was open and smiling and accepting. That is why he became the highest, most powerful master, because of that. Jesus is love. Love is Jesus.”

Of course, it’s not about physical death for us. It is about our willingness to surrender one reality for another. To accept the shadows in ourselves and others, to lovingly embrace them, and to fully trust in love, light and unity - the Reality.

“We are here to understand the mechanism of the Light. The glory of the Light. We are researchers. Spirituality is like the chicken in the egg. Your body is like the egg. The illusions are like the shell. You need to come out. To come out means, you need to create your own mechanism of the energy system. Never believe the illusions. Never believe the time. Focus your process. Never lose your inspiration until you reach your real nectar. Illusions are always a poison. It wants to bite you. It won’t allow you to taste who you are. Don’t give a chance to that. Drop all your things. Catch the Guru Parampara, whatever it brings.”

Jesus overcame the illusion of life and death. He saw through it, he went through it. He left everything behind, died and came back.

“Everything is in you, guys. Whole universe energy is in you. There’s no difference between you and the God. But how to remove that illusion? That’s the concept.”

The Guru Parampara - Jesus, Swami and Baba - have prepared everything for us. They accompany us and are with us until we reach our destiny. What did Swami say so often? “Do you really believe I don’t know why I invest my time in you? Do you really believe I am wasting my investment?”

Happy Easter!
